CO2 Insufflator with Smoke Evacuation

CO₂ Insufflator is used to distend the body cavity or operative site, to separate the abdominal wall from its contents and/or to increase the surgical area for the ease of surgery during minimally invasive surgical procedures like Laparoscopy (general surgery ), Hysteroscopy (gynaecological surgery), Arthroscopy (orthopaedic surgery), Thoracoscopy, Proctoscopy, Endoscopy of the upper or lower gastro intestinal tract with following features:

• High Flow Insufflation: Flow Insufflation rate can be set upto 30LPM

• Accurate Flow control: For delicate & critical surgeries, Flow can be set in 1 LPM/step

• Temperature control: User can vary the temperature of the C02 gas to suit the patient's requirement to avoid hyperthermia.

• Clear & un-obstructed view: Warms CO₂ gas upto body temperature to avoid fogging over the camera due to temperature variation.

•       Clear & un-obstructed view: Warms CO₂ gas upto body temperature to avoid fogging over the camera due to temperature variation.
•       Surgery Timing Indicator: Indicates the time from the onset of surgery as well as the standard time according to the set time zone.
•       Over-pressure detection controls the gas pressure without user’s interruption.
•       Automatic pressure regulation with internal exhaust port which prevents the pneumo- peritoneum from collapsing during overpressure.
•       Indicator for remnant/ consumed gas: The amount of gas remaining/ consumed in the cylinder is displayed on-screen.
•       Virtual / External pressure alarm : Unit gives an audio visual alarm and holds the abdominal pressure when sudden external pressure is applied.
•       Surgery history: Maintained upto last 100 surgery records for Medico Legal Compliance.
•       Control via USB / Ethernet or centralized control in conjugation with other Shalya OT equipment’s. 
•       Tube obstruction alarm: Audio-Visual alarms given if the silicon tubing gets obstructed during surgery.
